چکیده
In this paper, we present a 3GPP-inspired hardware implementation for the out-of-band Integrated Access and Backhaul (IAB) network, which serves as solution to both coverage extension capacity boosting in 5G beyond networks. By employing an Ettus x310 software-defined radio (SDR) board, Pasternack’s 60 GHz Transmitter (Tx) waveguide module, Matlab TM software, design develop easy-to-use mmWave Layer 2 protocol. The proposed protocol decodes frequency range 1 (FR1) signal input at 3.5 GHz, is retransmitted UE (FR2) GHz. of protocol, least squares (LS) estimator adopted by considering demodulation reference (DM-RS) channel state information (CSI-RS) pilot symbols real-world environments. To alleviate performance degradation access link, phase noise cancellation (PNC) algorithm based on tracking (PT-RS) implemented node where PT-RS block structure introduced transmitter stage. We review evaluate key indicators (KPIs) real non-line-of-sight (NLOS) environments comparison between gNode-to-UE link carried out. Our results indicate that similar obtained with off-the-shelf equipment demonstrating right functionality developed algorithms. Experimental evidence superiority over gNodeB-to-UE (direct communication) best when PNC considered IAB architecture.

Bandwidth Partitioning and Downlink Analysis in mmWave Integrated Access and Backhaul for 5G
With the increasing network densification, it has become exceedingly difficult to provide traditional fiber backhaul access to each cell site, which is especially true for small cell base stations (SBSs). The increasing maturity of millimeter wave (mmWave) communication has opened up the possibility of providing high-speed wireless backhaul to such cell sites. Since mmWave is also suitable for ...

متن کاملInvestigation of Performance in Integrated Access and Backhaul Networks
Wireless backhaul allows densification of mobile networks without incurring additional fiber deployment cost. This, in turn, leads to high spatial reuse, which is a significant tool to meet increasing wireless demand in 5G networks. Integrated access and backhaul (IAB), where access and backhaul network share the same standard wireless technology (e.g. 5G new radio (NR) standard), allows intero...
متن کاملHierarchical Optimization of User Association and Flexible TDD Allocation for Access and Backhaul Networks
The success of future heterogeneous networks (HetNets) heavily depends on the interplay between user association and resource allocation on both the access and backhaul network. While user association is key to improve both the user and network performance, it is becoming a multi-objective optimization problem that should consider the number and type of base station in range. Furthermore, the i...
متن کاملThe Design and Implementation of an Architecture for Flexible Access to Sensor Networks
In the light of the experiences from real-world sensor network deployments we are faced with the problem of accessing sensor networks. Sensor networks are made up of several sensor nodes using wireless communication to communicate. Due to the heterogeneity of sensor network implementations existing access methods are uniquely tailored to fit a particular sensor network deployment. During this t...
